Added the Nick Stebbing Estate Sale to Sales Announcements page onto the Trumpeter website. Nick Stebbing, a long time Trumpeter Society member passed away earlier this year. His wargaming material is to be sold off starting this Friday Game Night (August 11th).
Friday Game Night, June 2nd, saw 15 games, 10 of which were miniatures games, 4 were boardgames and 1 was a five player roleplaying game (D&D). Excellent to see D&D at Friday Game Night! Attendance was approximately 74 people, which is fairly good for the month of June. The Summer months of June, July and August are traditionally slower months than the rest of the year as people start taking holidays, have children who are graduating, or have children home from school, and when, potentially, the good weather arrives.
Of the 15 games that played at June's Friday Game Night, only 10 were registered. Registering your games is important because some people will only show up to Friday Game Night if they see a game that interests them. I spoke with a number of people at Friday Game Nights who showed up to play in games because they either read that their favourite games was going to be played out at Friday Game Night via the Trumpeter Society website, or because they saw the game listed in the Email News Service email that they subscribed to. Everyone benefits when you register your games. To register your games: Click Here.
