VOLUNTEERing

"Ask not What Can My Gaming Club Do For Me,
ask What Can I Do For My Gaming Club?"

The Trumpeter Society is run by a dedicated group of volunteers called "the executive". Despite the executive's best efforts and energy, the society still relies heavily upon its membership to help out with the running of its events such as Trumpeter Salute Tabletop Games Conventions and Friday Game Nights.  However, help is also required for social events and various society activities and needs such as:
  • Reach out to hobby shops in your area making them aware of our society
  • Help at the front desk at Trumpeter Salute and Friday Game Nights
  • Distribute posters to local hobby shops, libraries, community centres, etc.
  • Tell your friends and acquaintances about the Trumpeter Society
  • While attending other events distribute society posters and brochures.
  • Organize Trumpeter Society events in your area.
  • Keep society brochures with you, in your car, briefcase, etc., and give them to people you feel would be interested.
  • Inform the executive about new hobby shops, events, etc.

Picture
  • Mention the Trumpeter Society, in links, on social media, or on your website and blogs.

• Photos: Take photos of society events and submit them to the webmaster. Your photos will be added to the Trumpeter Society photo galleries and to the Trumpeter Society Pinterest board.

Come forward and volunteer or let us hear your suggestions. Great ideas always starts with an innovative thought or idea. With a society as large as the Trumpeters, we have the resources from our membership to do better but this only works when members step forward. Together we can make the Trumpeter Society better.
