GAME: Franco-Italian War 1924 GENERA: Between the Wars Naval HOST: Ed Beauregard RULES: Steel Fleets SCALE: 1/2400th PLAYER SLOTS: 10+ SCENARIO: The Great War ends on a sour note with Italy at odds with the other Allied powers. The Italians seize the three remaining Tegethoff class battleships as war reparations, infuriating France and making it impossible to reach any naval agreement among the victorious nations. After the French have modernized their fleet, and acquired a couple of war reparations of their own, it is time to settle the score with Italy for control of the Mediterranean. 3. SCENARIO: USS Loki (NCC-529), a 23rd century Federation starship, Saladin-class destroyer. It's mission: survey strange new worlds, patrol the spaceways, and defend the interests of United Federation Planets. 5. GAME: A Distant Plain GENERA: Guerrilla Warfare HOST: Daniele Cerin RULES: ? SCALE: N/A PLAYER SLOTS: This volume in Volko Ruhnke's COIN Series takes 1 to 4 players SCENARIO: This volume in Volko Ruhnke's COIN Series takes 1 to 4 players into the Afghan conflict of today’s headlines, this time in a unique collaboration between two top designers of boardgames on modern irregular warfare. As with each COIN Series volume, players of A Distant Plain will face difficult strategic decisions with each card. The innovative game system smoothly integrates political, cultural, and economic affairs with military and other violent and non-violent operations and capabilities. Flow charts are at hand to run the three Afghan factions, so that any number of players—from solitaire to 4—can experience the internecine brawl that is today's Afghanistan. 6. Fun system with some pretty chaotic combat (and also ninjas!) Can teach. Looking for an opponent. 8. GAME: AFRIKA KORPS '46 GENERA: WWII HOST: CHRIS BELL RULES: D-Day to VE-Day SCALE: 3mm PLAYER SLOTS: 2 - 4 SCENARIO: ALT/ HISTORY - After ignoring the Desert War for 5 years, Hitler needs a backdoor to Russia. He has shipped Rommel the 21stSS Panzer Div. This unit has just been reequipped with the new Panthers II's with it's 88L71 gun and the Panther F. Facing them will be the Desert Rats with their Comets and new landed Centurion 3's.This will be a TANK ONLY meeting engagement PAPER PANZERS and late war British. 10. GAME: Breakthrough on Vega GENERA: Sci-Fi HOST: Shawn Winstanley RULES: Battletech SCALE: 6mm PLAYER SLOTS: up to 8 SCENARIO: A breakthrough scenario involving the remnants of the Fourteenth Legion of Vega attempting to escape off the planet Vega. The only problem is that they need to get past the Third Lyran Guard to do so. 11. GAME: WWI Air GENERA: WWI Air Combat HOST: René Charbonneau RULES: Canvas Eagles SCALE: 1/72nd PLAYER SLOTS: 2 - 12 SCENARIO: September 1917, On the Western Front, the weather is starting to turn foul the struggle in the air gets rough. 12. GAME: DND GENERA: HOST: Graham Acton RULES: DND 5th ed, DMG, PHB, MM, Sword Coast SCALE: 25mm PLAYER SLOTS: 2 - 6 Players SCENARIO: Having faced the Bullywug matriarch and defeated the "Water elf" they must once more return to face the Bullywug Matriarch and find out what happened to the reliquary. 15. GAME: The Battle of Chickamauga: 1863 GENERA: American Civil War HOST: Dennis Chin RULES: Regimental Fire and Fury SCALE: 20 mm PLAYER SLOTS: 4 SCENARIO: On the first day of battle, September 19, 1863, General Rosecrans, in command of the Union Army of the Cumberland orders an attack on the extreme right flank of the the Confederate Army of the Tennessee, commanded by the mediocre Braxton Bragg. The Union Brigades far outnumbers John Bell Hood’s Division which has been instructed to hold the cross-roads of the Reed Bridge Road and the Brotherton Road at Jay’s Mill. The Confederates has the advantage of the cover of the central woods. |

NOTE: Presenting games at the Trumpeters Club is open to both members and non-members. Send your game information to the Trumpeter Club's GamesMaster. You may also "Bring & Play" (ie bring a game to Friday Game Night without registering your game with the GamesMaster) but registering gives you a better chance of having other people playing in your game.
